About Me
Hi, I’m Wesley Sadicario from St. Louis, Missouri, born and raised. I started making art as a kid with my mom, and my high school art teacher helped me discover a real passion for it. Early on, I found inspiration in artists like Basquiat, and that drive has stayed with me ever since.
My style is unique and different, often making people wonder how I made something or what it means. I like to explore themes like older people, surrealism, and focusing on a single character. I hope my work draws people in and sparks curiosity.
I mainly work with watercolor, ink, and pencils, though I also enjoy acrylic paint. My process usually involves sketching the most important elements first, then building the piece in sessions of an hour or two, taking breaks in between.
Friends describe me as funny, creative, and friendly. Outside of art, I enjoy volleyball, thrifting, listening to music, writing poetry, and hanging out with my friends. A fun fact is I have a pet parakeet that surprises people when they meet it.
Every piece I make carries a message, even if it’s subtle, and I think about it before and while I’m creating.
