About Me

Hi, I’m Wesley Sadicario from St. Louis, Missouri. I started making art as a kid with my mom, and my high school art teacher helped me discover a real passion for it. Early on, I found inspiration in artists like Basquiat, Theodor Seuss Geisel, and Picasso. This drive has stayed with me ever since.

My style is unique and different, often making people wonder how I made something or what it means. I like to explore themes like older people, surrealism, and focusing on a single character. I hope my work draws people in and sparks curiosity.

I mainly work with watercolor, ink, and pencils, though I also enjoy acrylic paint. My process usually involves sketching the most important elements first, then building the piece in sessions of an hour or two, taking breaks in between.

Friends describe me as funny, creative, and friendly. Outside of art, I enjoy thrifting, listening to music, writing poetry, and of course, hanging out with my friends. A fun fact is I have a pet parakeet that surprises people when they meet it.

Every piece I make carries a message, even if it’s subtle, and well thought through before and while I’m creating.

A Synthesis of Who I Am

A Vision of Whom I Want to Become

Rooted in St. Louis and shaped by early artistic experiments alongside my mother. Every sketch and structural study reflects back to my ongoing dialogue between natural forms and built environments based in St. Louis.

Aspiring to design spaces that unite community, modernism, and inspire artists/architects. As I progress through my architectural studies at Miami University, my aim is to combine my organic design with bold abstract storytelling.
